- Anna Ford Larson holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied with Dr. Betty Mallard and Professor Sofia Gilmson, among others. She has taught piano in Austin since 1998, and has had her private studio in South Austin since 2003. Ms. Larson has worked with students of all ages and playing levels. She enjoys playing classical music, as well as jazz. Ms. Larson is also an active accompanist as well. “Miss Anna” is proud to be a Native Texan, and grew up in the Dallas area. She has been playing piano since the age of 6, taking part in many of the same festivals and contests for which she now prepares her students. In addition to being a musician, Ms. Larson is a member of Loaded Gun Theory, a local theater company. She is blessed to have a wonderful husband and three amazing children….. And one very lazy dog.
